Guitar amplifier simulator

Hi !

I'm trying to develop a real time guitar amplifier simulator so I need to get the sound from a microphone, process it with some EQ, distortion, convolution and reverb then play it.

I'm having a hard time to figure out the audio pipeline in order to do this.
Can someone tell me which classes do I need or how to do this ?

Thanks !

I'm sorry for the late response.
Take a look at the Recorder-Sample. It shows how to create a create and process an audio graph based on microphone input.
All you would need to do is, adding the EQ,... to the audio graph. You may also need to implement some of the effects yourself.

Thank you so much !

Yeah I finally managed to make this thing work. It was simplier than I expected heh !
So far, the distortion is working but the equalizer doesn't seem to work (but that's a minor problem).

I'm also trying to apply some impulse responses to my signal but there's no convolver in CSCore, right ?

Glad to hear that. No there is currently no convolver implementation (but would be nice to have one ;) ).
The EQ should definitely work. Maybe you've made a simple mistake.
